The information provided below (PDF electronic documents) is taken directly from the government trek permit database and shows the real-time availability of trek permits for the Inca Trail.

Inca Trail  permits are required for the following tours:

• Classic 4-day Inca Trail (For either Group or Private Services)
• Shorter version 2-day Inca Trail
• 7-day Salkantay / Inca Trail.

 IMPORTANT: The peruvian government issues a maximum of 500 trek permits everyday. Since trekking staff are also included within this limit of 500 persons this means that, on average, about 200 trek permits are allocated to tourists and about 300 allocated to guides, cooks and porters.

NOTICE: Inca Trail permits for Groups leaving from 1st March 2011 to 31st January 2012 are still Intact (official bookings for this period will start around December this year). You can start booking with us now so your reservation is a priority one when booking start,
