Please Note:

• The Inca trail closes in February to clean up and re-opens in March
• Most popular months: April to September (really need to be booked well in advance).

Inca Trail  permits are required for the following tours:

• Classic 4-day Inca Trail (For either Group or Private Services)
• Shorter version 2-day Inca Trail
• 7-day Salkantay / Inca Trail (Private Service)
• 3 day Inca Trail (Private Service)
• 5 day Inca Trail (Private Service).

 IMPORTANT: The peruvian government issues a maximum of 500 trek permits everyday. Since trekking staff are also included within this limit of 500 persons this means that, on average, about 200 trek permits are allocated to tourists and about 300 allocated to guides, cooks and porters.
