Click on the following link to see if Spaces are still available for your preferred departure date:

Official Inca Trail - Availability 2012

or manually through the: http://www.machupicchu.gob.pe/  Select  'Consultas' and then Click 'Camino Inca' (Inca trail) in Centro Arqueologico and then finally choose the Month (Mes) you are looking at).

Important: We strongly recommend you making your reservation as soon as you are able as this is going to be a busy year to trek the Inca Trail due to Machu Picchu 100 years of its Discovery!

Important: we strongly suggest staying at high altitude (above 3000 metres - in Cusco or another high altitude city) for 3 to 4 days before undertaking the trip.  This is in order to minimize the effects of possible altitude sickness.  Also, you can help your body acclimatize by drinking plenty of liquids, adding a bit more sugar to your drinks, eating food rich in carbohydrates, avoiding cigarettes and alcohol and drinking coca (ancient traditional leaf) tea.

If you do want to confirm your reservation, please do the following:

 1. Confirm your preferred departure dates:

-          Main departure date: MUST Do

-          Back-up date:       MUST Do

(this will allow us to book your alternative date  immediately if necessary - i.e. if there are no spaces for your preferred date. It avoids delays in sending and responding to emails and the possibility of missing a booking for even your alternative date).

2. Send us the following information:

 a,

- Full name (as it appears on passport)

- Gender

- Date of birth

- Passport number (it is important that we receive the passport number that you will use whilst on the trek; please advise if you think you will change your passport before you do the Inca trail)

b, Confirm whether you are a student (it is necessary to have a valid ISIC card to qualify as a student) and if so scan and email it at the time of booking. You will also need to take the original on the Inca Trail.

c, Decide whether or not you want an extra porter who would carry your personal belongings (the price of this service is $130).  By hiring a porter you will only need to carry a very small day pack. (Please note, you can also share one porter between two people - up to 7 kilos each – costing $65 each.)

d, Let us know if you have any special dietary requirements or medical conditions that we should know about.

e, I/we have READ and ACCEPT your terms and conditions Terms and Conditions 2012 - MUST read and write YES within brackets (      ).

The deposit amount is:

US$200 per person for Inca Trail only or

US$260 per person for Inca Trail + Wayna Picchu.

Please confirm if you want to climb Wayna Picchu (the 45 minute climb near Machu Picchu site) as it needs to be booked well in advance too; this is US$60.00 per person there are 2 time sessions: 7 - 8am or 10 11am this also needs to be specified although you need to be flexible to either time. Please note, if you get the permits for the 7am start you will probably have to skip the Machu Picchu guided tour.
